Jacey is something else. She excepts things so well. On her first day of kintergarten her bus driver (I went in to Wellington to pick her up, but she cried and begged me to let her ride the bus... so I did) turned off of the road Jacey was use to coming home from Wellington on, Jacey went to the bus driver and said, "I live on that road." The bus driver then told her she would have to walk. She just couldn't believe she would have to walk all the way to Miller Creek. So she went down the road, across the tracks to the park where she just started to cry. Some older kids from her school saw her, went over to her and called 911. A police officer took her back to school and I was called to pick her up. I didn't know any of this until I got to the school, good thing, or I would have really freaked out. But at this point I was just happy that she was safe. Jacey helped me stay calm, because I think she was pretty much over it at this point. I asked her what had happened and she explained it all to me, at the end of her story she said, "and the police man gave me a ride back to school." I said, "Oh sis, that must have been so scary." Meaning the whole experience, she thought I ment the police officer, she said, "No he wasn't scary, he was nice, the bus ride was scary, when it turned I thought it's wheels were going to fall off." I told her to tell her dad she got her first ride in a police car on the first day of school. She was over it so fast and to this day she loves to ride the bus, and ever since then she has stayed on the bus the full hour until she gets home.
